Noor holds a PhD from the University of Bath, where his research focused on building physics, particularly improving the design of shelters for displaced communities. Throughout his PhD, he published several papers in prestigious academic journals, contributing valuable insights into sustainable construction and humanitarian shelter design. In addition to his doctorate, Noor holds a Master’s degree in Construction Management, which has further equipped him with the expertise needed to manage complex engineering projects. With nearly 15 years of experience, Noor has worked on a wide range of structural engineering and humanitarian projects both in the UK and internationally. His career spans roles in disaster relief and shelter construction, where he has delivered innovative, cost-effective solutions for communities impacted by conflict and natural disasters. Noor’s expertise extends to working closely with global organizations such as the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), where he helped implement projects in some of the world’s most challenging environments.
